Matthew Newland, Principal
Matthew was educated locally before studying dentistry at the University of Birmingham. In 1995 he graduated with honours and has since been a trainer to newly qualified dentists on both the South Wales and Marches vocational training schemes.
Through continuing professional development Matthew strives to maintain the highest clinical standards. He has worked in general practice since qualifying in 1995 and purchased the practice in Pontyclun in 2008.
Rhys Jones, Associate
Rhys qualified from Cardiff in 2002, having been born and brought up locally in Pontypridd. After qualifying, he joined a busy NHS practice in South Wales where he established himself as the clinical lead dentist.
He spent some time working at the Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr as a clinical assistant in Oral Surgery and has a particular interest in emergency dental care. Rhys has undertaken several postgraduate courses in advanced dental aesthetics and he currently works as a Clinical Educator at Mountain Ash Dental Unit, teaching 4th and 5th year dental students.
